When Red Nose Day comes around you can rely on the enthusiastic team at GovGrant to get involved – lunchtime board games, eating cake and raising money for this great cause. Since its launch in 1988, Red Nose Day has become something of a British institution. It’s the day when people across the land can get together to do something fun and raise money to support vulnerable people in the UK and internationally.
And GovGrant HQ was certainly up to the task. Our lunchtime pizza party saw everyone throw themselves into a board game challenge, with a full day’s annual leave up for grabs. Players were paired up and went through highly competitive rounds of Guess Who, Connect Four and lastly Lifesize Jenga. Proving themselves to be up to the challenge was Vicci and Vanessa who tied for first place. Resulting in one last game of Jenga – winner takes all – congratulations Vicci on winning and enjoy your annual leave!
When you add in the proceeds from a fantastic bake sale we managed to raise over £218 for Red Nose Day 2019.
